Welcome

Welcome to Abingdon Quakers, a faith group committed to peace, social justice and a sustainable world.

Quakers believe that there is something of God in everyone; all are welcome, regardless of their faith, ethnic background and sexual or gender identity. In our Meetings for Worship we seek a gathered stillness, in which people of widely differing views and experiences find an underlying unity. We warmly invite you to come and share this time with us.

We hold Meetings for Worship in person as follows:

  • Sundays: 10:15-11:15am at the Abingdon Community Support Service (Abbey Centre), Crabtree Place, off Audlett Drive. We also hold a Children's Meeting at this time.
  • 1st Thursday (outreach): 7:30-8:15pm in the Garden Room, St Ethelwold’s, 30 East St Helen Street.
